The FAST Builder Management System, a product division of Constellation Homebuilder Systems, automatically monitors every aspect of home building operation, allowing builders and developers to make critical decisions quickly and proactively, before they cost money. Automate processes, track costs and schedules, and quickly isolate problem areas. 

The position:

We are seeking to hire a strong Intermediate/Senior Level Software Quality Assurance professional, with in-depth hands-on expertise in Manual Testing. The SQA Analyst will be responsible for working with the Quality Assurance team in Redmond to create test plans/case, test execution and document defects for all applications in the FAST product suite. This includes Web-based and Desktop applications, as well as Mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.  

The ideal candidate possesses SQL and SSRS skills and a passion for software quality and testing. Candidates must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities, and must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team, located in Redmond, US.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

·        ·         University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.

·         Minimum 4 Years of Professional Testing Experience with customer-facing enterprise applications.

·         Experience in working with web applications, desktop and mobile applications.

·         Knowledge/skills of various test methodologies and iterative development, including planning, testing, defect reporting and troubleshooting.

·         Strong experience and proficiency in manual testing, approaches and test planning.

·         Strong test documentation, test management, test execution and reporting skills.

·         Strong ability to understand business processes/logic and think outside the box for testing applications.

·         Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (English).

·         Strong ability to escalate issues to the relevant teams in a timely manner.

·         Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

·         Strong skills in SQL query writing.

·         Experience with any of the following a plus: agile software development lifecycle, SSRS, and Crystal Reports.

Responsibilities:

·      Work closely with the QA and software development teams in Redmond to test and document multiple products/versions of products.

·      Create well-structured test plans based on functional specifications and the business knowledge of our development team and customers.

·      Maintain and enhance existing test scripts and test plans.

·      Use manual testing techniques to ensure efficient, high-quality releases and report results.

·      Coordinate/participate in meetings with the on-shore team on a day to day basis and provide active feedback.

·      Take ownership of the quality of the product being shipped.

·      Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Managers.
